The Department of Commerce, Maharajah’s College (Autonomous), successfully organized a guest lecture on “Basics of Stock Market & Mutual Funds” on 10th September 2026 at the Moti Mahal Auditorium.
The session was delivered by Dr. Reddy Sai Shiva Jayanth, CA., CS., Ph.D., Assistant Professor, IIM Visakhapatnam. The lecture offered students valuable insights into the fundamentals of the stock market and mutual funds, with a focus on investment awareness, wealth creation, financial planning, and financial literacy.The interactive session helped students understand key concepts related to investment avenues and the importance of making informed financial decisions. The programme served as an enriching academic experience, equipping students with practical knowledge relevant to personal finance and investment management.
