A Mega Blood Donation Camp was organized on 25 August 2026 at Maharajah’s College (Autonomous), Fort Campus, by the NSS and NCC Units on the occasion of the 124th birth anniversary of Maharaja Alak Narayana Gajapathi Raju.
The programme emphasized the importance of voluntary blood donation as a noble act of humanity and a lifesaving service. A total of 63 students participated in the camp, of whom 41 students voluntarily donated blood, making the initiative a meaningful contribution to society.
The event was attended by the Chief Guest, college authorities, blood bank representatives, NSS and NCC officers, and student volunteers. The dignitaries appreciated the students for their enthusiastic participation and commendable contribution towards the welfare of the community.
The successful conduct of the camp reflected the spirit of social responsibility, service, and compassion among the students of Maharajah’s College (A).
