As part of the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan (Drug-Free India Campaign), the Department of Computer Science, MR College organized a pledge-taking activity on 19 August 2026 at the Fort Campus.
Students actively participated in the programme and took a solemn pledge to lead a healthy, responsible, and drug-free life. They committed themselves to staying away from all forms of substance abuse and to encouraging their friends, families, and communities to make informed and healthy choices.
The initiative aimed to create awareness among students about the harmful physical, psychological, social, and academic consequences of substance abuse. The students also pledged to become responsible ambassadors of the drug-free movement by spreading awareness and motivating others to stay away from drugs and other harmful substances.
The programme reflected the students’ collective commitment towards building a healthier, safer, and stronger societyand contributing to the vision of a Drug-Free India.
