Under the aegis of the NSS and NCC units of Maharaja Autonomous College, a one-day seminar on “Traffic Rules – Road Safety” was organized on 07.02.2026 in collaboration with the Vizianagaram Town Traffic Police Station.
The Chief Guest, Y. Govinda Rao, created awareness among students and faculty about the importance of road safety. He emphasized preventive measures such as wearing helmets, using seat belts, avoiding improper parking, and carrying essential documents like a driving license, RC book, and pollution certificate. He highlighted that following safety rules can prevent accidents and protect families from tragic consequences.
The seminar was presided over by Principal M. Sambasiva Rao and attended by traffic officials, NSS and NCC officers, faculty members, and students.
